One and a half days of school left, and Summer is upon us.  Around here, Summer is our nemesis.

Miri does not do well with heat (and neither does Mommy!) so her behaviors increase, often to severe and violent stages.  The later sunsets and early sunrises mean we’ve battling sleep much more often with her, and school being out means that Mommy is on duty roughly 10 hours a day with no break.

All this means that by the time September rolls around, the household is in a state of shell shock, and ready to collapse. Ugh.

On top of this, we’ve been hit with two large medical bills, that are threatening our financial stability. So we’re making more of a push with the mirifund than usual:
