The MHSF goes to pay for Miri-related expenses that are not covered by monthly budgeting or insurance. This can range from household modifications, to parent education, to adaptive equipment, to respite care.

The Fund is being established as a Special Needs Trust, also known as a Supplimental Trust. This means, as Mirriam moves into adulthood her needs above and beyond SSI and government support can be met, without risking her monthly support levels.

Bathroom Repair (needs post-Miri repairs, and normal Miri use-proofing, let alone when she goes crazy in there!)
